Welcome to The Flying Sage! We have created this Community Code of Conduct to help maintain a high degree of integrity of our community and to allow everyone to feel welcome, seen and heard while promoting a fun and engaging community culture.
Although a big part of our mission is to create a community that is accessible to anyone, this does not mean that our community has no rules or guidelines.
Rules and guidelines help us establish proper form of conduct for our community based in the values of respect, openness, transparency and courage and we strongly believe that having these rules makes the community better. For us to achieve our goal of dissolving boundaries on a societal level, it is necessary for us to create healthy boundaries in our immediate community.
The following Code of Conduct has been created with the purpose of clearly outlining these boundaries and guidelines and we hope that you find the document informative.
Our Code of Conduct applies to all of our community's spaces, including our social media channels, private chats and membership threads. It also applies to all in-person events that we host as well.

Before getting into some of the specific rules and guidelines, it’s important to understand what our community is set out to do in the first place. The Flying Sage is mission lead; this means that all of our actions and efforts are built around our mission which is to help others soar to transcendence through the safe and effective use of psychedelic medicines. To do this, we have set out to create a welcoming, vibrant and sustainable community focussed around supporting one another in the pursuit and integration of peak experiences and altered states.
A community is an entity in and of itself and we believe that The Flying Sage gains it’s character and energy from the people that are a part of it. We commit to always serve the people that feel a sense of belonging in our community and we strive to make anyone feel a sense of belonging that aligns with our mission, purpose and vision.
To foster belonging, we seek to cultivate a loving, accepting and dynamic community culture. We aim to do this primarily through the connection generated at in-person events but also through our virtual spaces such as our membership platform and app. To help us in cultivating this, we encourage our community members to:
