As The Flying Sage grows, we're expanding our team to include a strategic Head of Partnerships to help build bridges with aligned organizations, drive sponsorship opportunities, and further our mission to democratize access to psychedelic wellness.

In this pivotal role, you'll shape and lead our partnership strategy, collaborate closely with Michael and other team members, and play a critical role in strengthening our presence in the psychedelic ecosystem.

Your work will be instrumental in helping us cultivate and maintain strong partnerships, ensuring we meet ambitious growth goals while aligning with our values and vision.


Role Overview

The Head of Partnerships will focus on relationship-building, partnership development, and managing strategic alliances to grow The Flying Sage’s reach and influence. This role will also involve overseeing sponsorship opportunities, helping with fundraising, and identifying new collaborative initiatives to support our community and mission.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partnership Development:

    1. Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with aligned organizations, businesses, and thought leaders in the psychedelic and wellness spaces.
    2. Work alongside Michael to establish guidelines and criteria for partnerships that reflect our brand values and long-term goals.
    3. Maintain relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing value alignment, communication, and opportunities for collaboration.
    4. Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring they are mutually beneficial and supportive of our growth and impact goals.
  2. Sponsorship & Revenue Opportunities:

    1. Develop and execute a sponsorship strategy that aligns with our community needs and mission.
    2. Secure sponsorships for in-person and online events, workshops, and other key initiatives.
    3. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure sponsor visibility and integration into our programming and content.
    4. Manage and oversee the sponsorship pipeline, tracking relationships and ensuring deliverables are met for sponsors.
  3. Community & Event Collaboration:

    1. Work with the events team to bring in partners for co-hosted or sponsored events, helping expand our reach and attendance.
    2. Act as a liaison for partnership involvement in our events, ensuring alignment with our community values and mission.
    3. Occasionally attend key in-person events to engage with potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators.

Hours & Location of Work

This is a part-time role, approximately 20 hours per week, with potential for full-time growth as The Flying Sage continues to expand. While some work can be conducted remotely, the candidate must be based in Vancouver and available for occasional in-person events and meetings.
