As The Flying Sage grows, we're expanding our team to include a few different Partnership Managers to help build bridges with aligned organizations and drive sponsorship opportunities.
In this role, you'll shape and lead our partnership strategy, collaborate closely with Michael and other team members, and play a critical role in strengthening our presence in the ecosystem.
Your work will be instrumental in helping us cultivate and maintain strong partnerships, ensuring we meet ambitious growth goals while aligning with our values and vision.
Role Overview
Partnership Manager will focus on relationship-building, partnership development, and managing strategic alliances to grow The Flying Sage’s reach and influence. This role will also involve overseeing and pursuing sponsorship opportunities and identifying new collaborative initiatives to support our community and mission.
Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with aligned organizations, businesses, and thought leaders in the psychedelic and wellness spaces.
- Maintain relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing value alignment, communication, and opportunities for collaboration.
- Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring they are mutually beneficial and supportive of our growth and impact goals.

Sponsorship & Revenue Opportunities:
- Execute our existing sponsorship strategy
- Secure sponsorships for in-person large events
- Manage and oversee the sponsorship pipeline, tracking relationships and ensuring deliverables are met for sponsors.
KPIs for Success
- Partnership Growth and Satisfaction
- Measured by the number of active partnerships and sponsorships developed, along with qualitative feedback from partners and sponsors.
- Sponsorship Revenue
- Success in this role will be partly defined by the ability to secure sponsorship funding for events and other initiatives
Hours & Location of Work
This is a part-time role, approximately 10-20 hours per week, with potential for full-time growth as The Flying Sage continues to expand. While some work can be conducted remotely, the candidate must be based in Vancouver and available for occasional in-person events and meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in partnership development, business development and sponsorship management, ideally in wellness, education, or similar industries.
- Strong alignment with The Flying Sage’s mission and vision.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong negotiation skills.
